This sub's fascination with labelling everyone a griefer

This may be fixed now, but up until very recently Eagle Eye+ (the ability to use Eagle Eye while galloping on your horse or running) used to break if you died. The only way to restart it was to completely reload the game. Now if youre just minding your business out collecting, something that is greatly benefited by Eagle Eye+, and some jackweasel shoots you for no reason, even if they only kill you one time, you have to completely quit the game and restart it to get that ability back. If that isn't the definition of griefing (ruining someone's online gameplay, deliberately annoying another player, causing disruption, breaking immersion for someone's game) then I don't know what is. This isn't the only instance of "just one kill" being annoying. A player could be in the middle of an award streak (survive a certain number of minutes with a wanted level, use the same weapon for 50 kills in a row) or any number of missions which you fail for dying. I agree with you that stealing/killing for trader wagons is part of the game and not griefing. With that behind said, it happens, it's a wild West game, we're supposed to be outlaws, it's part of multi-player, etc etc etc ad nauseam but it IS griefing to kill another player unprovoked for no reason, even if it's only one time. And let's be honest, how many times does that happen where a player kills one time and then goes on their merry way without it being forced by a parlay or switching sessions? If you wanna kill other players for no reason, that's fine, but wear the griefer badge with honor instead of trying to convince people that's not what it is.
