Subway entrance in Frankfurt

Maybe for Americans. I'm not intending to start shit, you asked why you were downvoted and when people tell you why you argue with them. That doesn't seem very reasonable. I merely told you that most people here have no clue what Frankfort is or how many people live there, so the joke works almost exclusively for Americans that know about it.

And you're in a European sub on an American site. So chill.

I always scratch my head when people pull this, you're an American, your country was founded by Europeans. So, does that make me better now?

It's not even close to relevant who invented the site, or who founded the USA, it's just petty. This is a sub about Europe, you have plenty of places to go on Reddit where people share exclusively American cultural habits and jokes. Not here, though.

Also, I'm in no way upset, and quite frankly don't know how you would come to that conclusion. Perhaps in the USA, it is not the custom to respond to a question, but where I come from if you ask a question and get a reasonable answer you don't tell whoever answered to "chill".
