Bernie won the exact same states that she needed to secure the electoral college. Bernie would have won against Trump. Not only is he massively popular among the Democratic base (he was just voted the most popular senator again), but he has crossover appeal with independents and those voters that switched from Obama to Trump.

Your philosophy has been tried and it failed. What makes Pete different from Hillary?

PS: look up the popularity of Bernie's policies. Before all the establishment attacks began, M4A was even supported by a majority of Republicans.
