Are you circumcised? I gotta be honest, it’s more complicated than what is going on with fgm. This is a practice, done at or around birth. You don’t have a memory of it, you don’t see people without them, in fact here in the US it’s basically an outlier to have a uncircumcised penis if you are from these communities. It’s a weird and immoral practice, don’t get me wrong. But it goes beyond that. It’s not like you load up porn in one pf the biggest countries in the world, and see something different. It’s not like when you see other penises, you see uncircumcised penises. It’s not even that when you DO see one, you think it’s weird. It’s just a culturally engrained practice and normality. Medical text books, rated r movies, comics, jokes, it goes on and on.
