[Suggestion]Why not just get rid of the 0-70 leveling?

So, in season 5 everyone starts with a naked lvl70 char, without any gold, items, crafting mats, ...?

The only solution would be to give you a full starter set as well. And what would that be? Blue only? Yellow? Full legendary? Or make it random, so we can just keep making new chars to gear up instead of play?

I wouldn't say naked. When you start a new character at the moment, it's not naked, it has some very basic gear, and that's really all you'd need to get started on normal at level 70. Say a blue weapon, chest and pants. I can kill stuff on normal with my 70 WD with no follower, no paragon points assigned, and only using a blue spear.

Also, why is it the static charge monk comes from China (I think it's their first season?), and "we" (EU/NA) who know the "ins and outs" did not figure it out? Not saying that levelling did create this build, but it did get figured out by people levelling and seeing the skills for the first time.

Fair point. When I say most people know the ins and outs, I just mean that they have a basic idea of what each skill does. I'm skeptical as to how important leveling is to figuring out new builds though, as they're usually dependant on particular pieces of gear which are only available at level 70.

I enjoy gearing up my characters, I'd just prefer it if literally anything I find in the first 69 levels is ultimately going to be useless, not long after I git level 70. If we started at level 70, there would always be a slim chance of getting something great, which would form a fundamental part of a build, even from the get-go.

I enjoy acquiring paragon levels as well, which is now essentially the core leveling aspect in Diablo 3. So much so, that I think the 1-70 part has basically become an artefact of the original design which most people just skip.
