Hi, I don’t know you specific situation... I would agree in some situations where if there is a chronic non-treatable or incurable disease that is afflicting great pain on the individual, the individual should have the right to end their life. A few states and countries have do allow this and the trend is going towards that. However, if the condition is treatable such as depression or a cancer that has good prognosis then as a society we have decided that we shouldn’t allow people to end their lives. For example, 9/10 individuals who attempt suicide or are suicidal do not attempt suicide EVER again. So wouldn’t it be a huge loss to society if we allowed everyone who is suffering due to their depression to kill themselves? All the young individuals who could potentially have fulfilling lives and contribute to betterment of humanity would be lost...
