I have similar thoughts as well. There is this consensus that certain traits are inherently superior to others and everything deviating from it is treated as being weird or worst case as a pathology. The only thing it means to me is that the definition of normalcy is pretty narrow. There should be more acceptance towards different personality types instead of trying to force people into certain standards. There's nothing wrong with the way you've described yourself. We don't have to become like them, i agree that it feels fake, and wrong, but just like you i feel like i don't belong in society. A quote i like:
