When most of the time news is only going to be coming from 3 possible sources: AKP, Soompi and Koreaboo, we simply don't have that luxury. As much as I hate AKP, sometimes they make articles about things that Soompi simply doesn't, and Koreaboo is basically just as shit as AKP is, except without ever having done anything malicious. When the Burning Sun news began coming out, AKP was the one who was releasing everything, and Soompi was only releasing official YG /Seungri statements, until they clearly realized the situation wasn't going to get swept under the rug, then they finally began writing about it.

We're in a situation where we have one "good" source that isn't perfect, and two crap options. It'd be lovely if people waited 30 min or so until Soompi came out with an article about most stuff, since AKP is typically faster, but with how much of a karma race culture there is on this sub among some users, that's never going to happen either, and potentially deleting AKP threads if a soompi article can trump it would only be removing conversations in the comments. Its a no win situation any way.
