Perhaps, if they’re setting up a live action saga about the secret Grysk wars, we could see an animated show filling the gaps between the big LA events - a little like how Clone Wars was to AOTC and ROTS (It could even be called Star Wars: The Grysk Wars and use arcs to cover different stories/battles that went on during the war, in the same vein as The Clone Wars). I’m sure that would mean they could use any (expensive) assets they allegedly made, which, as you say, I’m sure they wouldn’t ditch. It would be such an expensive waste. Generally, I think a large-scope, extended animated show would really enhance all the big LA events (feature films?) in the same way that TCW contextualised and enhanced the stories of the prequel trilogy.
