Summer Skirmish Week 2 - Friday Winner

Yep, bullshit. As I type this, Epic Launcher is transferring to the recycle bin. Fortnite has been deleted. Not because I care if someone cheats at a game -- every game has cheaters.

I quit for good because of the stakes. $130,000? Yeah, fuck that. That's enough money to drastically change the lives of 13 people, or significantly change the lives of 130 people!

And you're gonna let that go without even bothering to refute half of what was brought to bear?

I'm not great at Fortnite -- not by a long shot -- but I'm decent enough to know that nobody could get 20 kills in one game without a serious handicap OR incredible, incredible luck. Well, 2x in a row rules out the luck part, so it's clearly a handicap. Whether it's solely the fact that M&K were used, or whether true cheating occurred, the Epic response to this was, well, epicly wide of the mark.

Really terrible PR from all angles. For all Epic's "non pay-to-win" striving, paying people to give you kills (almost definitely what happened) negates it 100%.

I challenge Epic to prove there was no cheating, instead of just bending their game over and letting it be ass-fucked.
