I deleted my text thread I had with him from our first message. Our year long relationship is over and I am so thankful to be unable to look back into the past at the messages or think about what I could have done differently.

I want someone who wants to be with me for who I am and I don’t need someone to make me happy. I want someone to share my happiness with and I lost track of that. Patience is learned not wanted or given and I’m always going to be learning. I’ll learn from what hurt the people I loved and lost so I don’t repeat the same mistakes with my next partner. I can’t hold onto mistakes because I spent time making them.
