It was sunny today so cheerio to the Spring daffodils

I am also a very curious person, so I understand. I find it very fascinating to learn about other people and cultures so I enjoyed the snapshot of your life.

I am very pro-vax, but we have this weird curse where if we mention getting vaxinated, someone gets covid or something else the prevents us. Our plan is to ambush the vaccination clinic at random when we are better. It sounds crazy, but life will sends it's twists apparently. Its kinda joke we have about the plan. I'm glad you are vaccinated. I appreciate your concern for my health as well. I am also pursuing a studies to help with long covid research. I will be fine, but the research will help others since it's all so new.

I also work from home(easy for me to get healthy also). I worked half at the office before covid, and now I am full time remote. I work in IT, what is your profession? I have been out of the Army for about a decade. It was a good experience, but I prefer civilian life.

That's a fun connection we have. Frankfurt is a beautiful city. I believe I went to the natural history museum when I was there. We snuck off from the hotel to sample your German beer and culture :).

Living by the river sounds nice. It's a blessing to have places like that in front of you. Is it a flat, row house, or ??? What is your region known for?

I also worry about climate change. To me it feels like it doesn’t snow as much as when I was a child. Maybe it's selective memory, but our big snowstorms are not so big anymore. I half joke to my wife that we need to buy propery on Lake Superior because it will be the next Mediterranean sea. It's one of our "great lakes" that connects to the ocean if you travel east eventually. It's to cold to swim in currently unless you have a special wetsuit on. It's the largest freshwater lake by surface area and is crystal clear due to the cold temps. I took a class on Minnesota Geography in college, so I am known for my fun MN facts.

My grandparents speak some Swedish. My grandfather is 90 and my grandmother is not much younger, but can still drive. I have distant relatives in Sweden I am friends with on Facebook. I only know my German from movies and being able to think on my feet. Lol. I do speak what I call vacation level Spanish.

I had dinner with my grandparents last night. My parents are here for the summer, but go to Florida in the winter to escape the cold. We call them "snow birds" in the U.S. because they migrate like birds for warmth. We sometimes fly down to visit. Its good to spend time with family. Will it be a long journey to see your parents?

I have a wife, son, daughter, and 2 cats. It is odd to have a son driving. It's such a big responsibility so I do worry, but he's a good kid so I have to trust him. Teenage years are a strange adjustment for everyone. He started driving at 15. In the U.S. you get a permit at 15, then license at 16. He had to log a certain amount of hours on a phone app with me riding with him to be able to take the license exam.

I like horizon as well. I really liked the British one, but haven't gotten into the new one very much. How do you like the new one? I play it on Xbox a little bit. I do flight simulator more right now on the PC. I have the yoke, pedals and throttle control devices. I want to get my real license some day.

As for my Sunday, I also plan to unwind and hangout with my daughter and will be helping her play super Mario on her switch. I need to fix my garage door and do a few other chores around the house. Every spring there are things to be done.
