Sununu will opt into expanded Unemployment benefits - an extra $300 per week!

I never said I was throwing my hands up or not applying for jobs? The reality right now is that the healthcare and other industries are wary of hiring for positions that were laid off, as fall approaches and the likelihood of a second wave grows closer. Hiring people is expensive, especially when these industries have already taken a big hit, spending hundreds per employee hired only to lay them off come winter is a big risk.

I’m glad you don’t have to weigh risking your life against getting your income back, but not everyone has that privilege. Shitting on the people who were left in the dirt from this pandemic rather than the appallingly horrible government response that got us here is not the move.
