Actually, I let myself fall asleep if it doesn't seem like I'll AP easily through the vibrational stage. I then give myself the repeated suggestion to REMEMBER while I'm LDing and/or APing. Most people LD AND AP but don't remember it. The real trick is remember them both! That gives you way more chances to succeed at this.

If the vibrational stage isn't happening without great effort, let yourself SLEEP and tell yourself to remember if/when you AP. As far as going into AP from a LD, start reality checking throughout the day. Then when you are in a LD (Lucid Dream) state clearly you WILL AP. Then request for a door or portal. Look around for it. It may not appear in front of you. It might even be blurry or an object all lit up.

When found... GO in it. You will either end up conscious in your astral body during it's current projection or in the vibration stage in bed ready to roll, climb or float out. Good Luck! I love helping people.
