Super informative streamer I found (again) (more in comments)

1) Non-meta picks

Somewhat, more running team compositions that don't synchronize.

2) Non-meta builds

Absolutely, I'm not sure why you would teach new players non-standard builds.

3) Because my team lost a few games

No I don't care about losing. The matchmaking system attempts to give you a 50/50 Win/Loss rate as it is so getting mad if you lose is detrimental to overall improvement. My issue is that I think you put yourself at a disadvantage from the get go and that was part of what contributed to the team losing. Not the whole reason of course but I see no benefit in putting yourself at an unnecessary disadvantage.

4) Because I listen to viewer requests and wish to put out varied content

Viewer requests, hmm yes and no. If I was streaming and someone asked me to go Ring of Frost on Jania I would tell them no. Not only because Water Elemental is significantly better but also because agreeing makes it appear seem like the ult is potentially viable at high level play. I wouldn't want a new player watching my stream to think that it's OK to go Ring of Frost just because he saw some Rank 1 guy doing it. I think the proper response to that sort of non-standard request is to explain in detail why you are choosing to do something else instead. Elaborate about what the pros and cons are for each option.

On varied content I think that's fine and overall a good thing. I wouldn't label all of what you are doing as newbie friendly though. If you don't want to call what you were doing as trolling that's fine. That word is probably too harsh but I wouldn't say it's tutorial content either. Maybe just fun experimental games or something like that.

Zero mention of how I encourage new people to the game to not follow tier lists, play who they enjoy, try new builds,

I somewhat disagree with this approach but it depends on who the new player is. If they only care about having fun and playing casually then your advice is totally fine. However, if they at all want to play competitively then I see no point in avoiding the meta. I'm not necessarily talking about tier 1 picks but I would be suggesting that new players learn say Valla over Raynor even though he's the tutorial hero. I think Valla is an easier hero to learn and she's been consistently played at high levels over the past few months. That last part is rather crucial from a learning perspective in my opinion. Suggesting that new players learn the meta has the added benefit of there being lots of high level VODs of how they should be playing that character available for them to watch.

For example if a new player wants to learn Uther then are hundreds of pro level games that they can go though if they want to. On the other hand if a new player wants to learn Sgt. Hammer I can't actually think of a tournament where she was picked up in the last 3 months. It's going to be significantly more difficult for that new player to find games that they can copy builds and strategies off of.

explain when to fight, when not to fight, importance of soaking, when to jungle, counter picks, list goes on and on but most of all have fun with the game.

That's all great stuff and you did a very good job with it. I have 0 complaints there.

"Troll stream" is incredibly insulting and misleading, so I encourage "nexus newbies" to actually stop in and join the chat and myself. Because out of all the people who have told me "thank you" you are the only one who has been hung up on such petty things.

I'm hung up on such petty things because I think they are important. If my goal was to help someone improve as quickly as possible then I probably wouldn't be directing them to your stream at this time. And I'm not saying that to be mean. If you can't tell I'm trying to offer legitimate criticism here. You do a lot of good stuff but if I were to compare the way you run your stream to say how Zuna runs his I would be recommending Zuna. He's just as active about responding to chat but he's also willing to go much more in depth about why he thinks things are good and why others are bad. He has no problem disagreeing with someone who suggests something that they thinks is good and I think that's a positive.

You're entitled to your opinion but it doesn't give you the right to bash something you obviously only slightly watched.

This point would be valid if I wasn't the Rank 1 Jaina/Valla player that you queued on Tomb and Cursed Hollow with. I had your stream audio running as our games played out so while I didn't watch, I did listen and actively participate in the games that you were playing. Noiseisart's quick response to my initial comment and his praise for you is what made me actually decide to go and take a longer look at your stream in the first place.
