I went into this game expecting to half enjoy it. I'm a huge fan of the series, and I was afraid it would sway too far from it's roots.

I'm enjoying the hell out of this game. I love the new dice system, I thought I'd hate it. It works surprisingly well. My only gripe with it is that a couple dice seem useless.

Every mini game is well done and polished, I've only run into one or too mini games that seem unbalanced.

My only real complaints I have with the game is the limited map selection/no online board play. And I feel like I can't complain too much because there's a good amount of content elsewhere in the game. A lot of people seem to disagree with that, comparing it to games like Odyssey where you could put 300 hours into the game and not 100% it. This is Mario Party though, it's never had a massive amount of content. The River Mode is very fun, along with the other side mini games like the soccer one.

It's definitely in my favorites list, I hope they update the game and polish some of the edges. There's some minor things that I could complain about but I'd feel like I'm nitpicking because they don't take away from the overall enjoyment of the game.
