I don’t work for a large company, instead a small non-profit that helps disabled people, so I don’t know anything about all that corporate stuff….
I do know that my boss does care and does ask me when I seem stressed if I’m OK, and it’s not because she’s worried about my output; she’s worried about me being happy and healthy because she’s a caring human being.
I fully recognize that most workplaces aren’t like mine, but from my perspective, a boss offering something expensive like therapy on the company dime would be awesome because that shits expensive.
In terms of time off, yeah there shouldn’t even be a question about why.
