Supervisors, how do you prevent your troops from doing stupid shit?

A lot of folks are recommending the ACA as a way to stay away form these issues but you have to communicate with your people CONSTANTLY. And even if you're communicating with them constantly, sometimes they do off the wall stuff.

I had a new Airmen in the section take out a 4 year, 15% personal loan for 10K to purchase a car for $7K and blew the other $3K over the weekend (to include a banger of a dorm party as I've been told that he purchased all the alcohol for, leading to 2 Airmen partying/coming to work late the next day). Best believe I got him an appointment at AFRC but even if you do everything right, sometimes people make their own decisions.
