Is this supposed to be a demon?

If you want me to talk out of my ass, then I can do it. I'm bored anyway :)

Just my interpretation on the big picture in a religious context as much as I see fit:

The overlooking faces seem to be some sort of creator god from whom both choas and order emerge, but they only separate after their creation, because even chaos, as symbolised through the snakes, is ordered the closer you get to the source. Could be a similar to the bible's creation story and that even god cannot create a lasting order, because the snake will find a way to disrupt it.

The horned calf like figure in the center reminds me of a typical son of god figure, like Jesus, who focuses the good order (as symbolised though the bright colour comming from above) and creates a border with his wreath around his head and his wings. He holds a staff made of snakes at his center to show, that he has control of chaos and can use it as a weapon, but is defenseless without it. Maybe to symbolise, that order cannot last without knowledge over chaos. He watches over something like a solar system and that would fit the savior/protector role.

The humans in the outside images are surrounded by the same imagery as the center image. They sit in the order, but receive their mind from the chaos of snakes, which would fit the Adam and Eve creation story of living in a garden of order, but the snake gives them self awareness. I don't realy know what to make out of the emerging faces from the snakes though.

That's all what I can come up with now.
