i'm glad you were able to speak to your therapist so soon. i'm also glad that your surgeon's team is taking your health seriously (even though dysphoria itself can be very dangerous); there are many anecdotes about people going through with surgery when they shouldn't, and we want you to have the best outcome possible!

what helped me through my many delays was finding things i could start that i was putting off, e.g. new hobbies, meeting new people, or starting a new routine. i planned myself a little day trip and that served as a great distraction, as well as an "event" to look forward to. give yourself as many little nuggets of joy to keep moving as you can, and before you know it, you'll be a month away. take care!!
