Survey: There are now as many Americans who claim no religion as there are evangelicals and Catholics

As the deconverts having less children (to the point of being below replacement) and massive amounts of religious families migrating in and creating insular communities while making a lot of kids, the odds are stacked against the growth of atheistic groups in the future. Already Muslim communities have been able to successfully protest away LGBT education classes in muslim majority schools in Britain too.

Intellectually, naturalism is in trouble with the failure of Eliminative Materialism, existentialism is in trouble with the failure of social constructionist views of gender and the failure of blank slate theory, and neoscholastics are becoming popular figures in western subculture. And also mix that with the rise of nationalism in the west which isn't going anywhere soon.
