A survey XD but I truely love reading these things

How did you meet? We met on vacation in New Orleans!

Were either party in a relationship at the time? Nope.

How often do you talk with him or her? A few times a day :)

How did the relationship start, did it just grow and one day you just kind of realised you were or was it always that way from the beginning? The first time he came to visit me, we just decided to keep in touch and not see other people. Then we just kept talking every single day on Skype and became inseparable (lol) pretty fast.

Are there days that you want to be alone? If yes, do you tell your SO that it is one of those days? Does she understands? NO WAY.

What's the longest time you have spent without visiting her? 1 month.

Longest time without talking? (Not even texts) 12 hours, because he got too drunk and passed out. I was not happy.

How do you manage your time? We call in the morning, text throughout the day, and Skype before we sleep. Its not very complicated.

Is there anyone here who employs a lot of freedom in their LDR or are they all monogamous, exclusive here? Exclusive 100%

In case you're a young guy/girl: how did you convinced your parents to let you travel such long distance to see a "stranger"? I don't live with my parents so they don't really know.

Do any of you have an language barriers? Yes. His first language is French, mine is Greek. We both speak English - I'm fluent, he's almost fluent but doesnt have a huge vocabulary and doesnt understand some of the nuances of the language. I'm learning French so I can understand a different part of him better, and so I can speak to his friends and family. Who knows, I might move to Quebec some day <3

How you your families, friends react to you being in a LDR? It is still pretty early, so no real reactions yet! Everyone is telling us to just enjoy the moment and have fun.

How long in a LDR? just 4 months :)
