Alien Isolation is crap. There’s save points every 20ft so nothing actually feels like a threat. If you die you just have to do a mild bit of tedious backtracking. The Alien is also severely limited in its AI. It doesn’t actually hunt you, it just walks around and either sees you or doesn’t and then it leaves. As soon as you hear it just hide behind something and it’s 100% not a problem anymore because it doesn’t do anything but walk around. It isn’t going to check that box you’re hiding behind.

It’s one of the most overrated games on reddit. There’s a reason it got mediocre reviews and sold really poorly. Because it sucks.
