This Claire interview is quite insightful about what's going on with Josh:
Frannie ends up targeting Josh as you mention, and you mention that he's cagey. Was this the general perception of him on Soka?
Totally. I think Josh is lovely. But he walks with poise and he's beautiful and he's built. He did not share a lot about his background that we've now seen. He told us that he was a personal trainer, not a surgeon. He share why he got his scars when asked. He was very aloof about his personal life, which made it hard to connect. And it makes you be like, "Okay, he's hiding something." And it just really felt like he was kind of sneaking around doing some things.
I think around Frannie, Matt, Heidi, Danny, I think he got some of this unfortunate perception that he's sneaky maybe, because he's just a little bit more quiet. But he wasn't doing himself a ton of favors. Like, I remember really, really wanting to work with him. As a queer black person, I was like, "Me and him." But it just wasn't materializing. And, and I think he rubbed people in that way. And so it's interesting even hearing Heidi going like, I" don't really have a relationship with Josh, but I'm still gonna vote Claire."
