Survivor, just a great epic story- Part 2 (still very long, apologies)

Extremely well written, and I'm glad to see a fellow appreciator of the stories Survivor tells. I personally think that if the editors continue the way the first few episodes of GC were edited, they could tell one of the greatest stories ever.

Note: from here on, I get caught up in defending the season and come off very aggressive

People are getting too caught up in the moment to realize what the editors are trying to say, and as somebody who rewatches the entire season so far before each episode, I can attest to the fact that the editors are (so far) telling an amazing story! I honestly can't understand why people are hating on this season. I certainly think it can go down in my ranking if the rest of the game sucks or the story becomes sloppy, but, for such low expectations, GC is exceeded my wildest dreams. It really is catering the way for a future game; one filled with people who want to win so bad they'd do anything. Whether people like it or not, after 17 years, what makes Survivor so entertaining is that the game is constantly evolving. The thing overlooked about GC is that it is evolving the game, without being too in your face about it, like many people hate Cambodia for doing. I seriously believe that if the season continues like this, GC could surpass HvV, Cagayan, PI, etc. to become a top-tier season. I only hope people give it a chance.

The sooner you realize the legends won't win, the sooner you can appreciate the not-so-much legendary players, and truly witness the underdogs evolve this game that we love. At the end of the day, it's up to the editors to tell a story each season, and, with so much game left, we can't hate on the story that hasn't finished being told yet! The people disliking this seasons' edit are (mostly) the same people who praise the edit of HvV. But, to be fair, many stories didn't have a cohesive conclusion in HvV until after the story was told! We need to have faith in the storytellers of this season to tell us the story. Certain parts may not make sense now, or may seem like 'sloppy editing' when, in actuality, I'm getting major foreshadowing vibes. What sets this apart from many seasons is that it is telling a story episode-to-episode with an overlying saga unfolding over the course of the season (with an epic soundtrack underlying it all). I can't wait to see what this is all leading up to, and hopefully we will stop seeing all the hate.

To anybody who disagrees, you can downvote. But, ultimately, I appreciate a good, dramatic story, and I'm in love with GC so far.
