First I would like to point out that I did enjoy Palesa a lot as a "character" of this show. From her Bad Ass original confessional on the premiere (with Katinka herself putting her over as some kind of dominant presence), to her masterful original Idol clue find and awesome use of it on the Unpredictable King Ace The First....To her iconic reaction at the rock draw on the same ep....to her massive clashes with fellow big character Tom...She gave us a lot of memorable moments to cherish and remember forever....BUT...With this said....Her late pre merge and mostly merge game have been dreadful...For instance , she should have gotten rid of Tom when it was still possible pre merge...When Chané went to her and Vusi to beg them to throw the next challenge, she should have persuaded her closest ally Vusi to do so...I do think it's her mismanagement of Tom but also her constant obsession with getting him out post merge than ultimately cost her this game...Her, Vusi and Chané digged their own grave right at the merge by targetting Tom over anyone at original Mindanao...They got so blinded by their sheer hatred for him it ruined all of them three games....Goin to this merge, they should have known they were 4 vs 6 and they litterally got no choice but to mend bridges with Tom and workin with him (at least the first or two weeks of voting) to shake things up and overcoming the dominance of original Mindanao members (that got an extra faithful member in original Luzon alumnee Annalize, something they also failed to acknowledge properly...).This Tom obsession is why all of them 3 are in Ponderosa while the other 7 mergers are still in the game...The nail in her coffin game was litterally winning this reward...What should have been a blessing for her ended up some kind of Tom's Curse...Why did she pick him, of all peeps, to go talkin strategy at this reward ? He is the super massive goat of this 6 peeps alliance AND he is the one person that you hated so much you were the only one who voted for him on EVERY Single of your merged councils so far....Why not pickin someone like Toni who is openly pissed with the very leader of the said alliance Werner but also about Katinka (who she called out on previous ep council) ? How could Palesa not acknowledge such facts to work her way back on this game and shake things up social & strategy wise ? Of course icin on the cake of her downfall is this new immunity idol handed to her on a silver plate....You're gonna get votes your way no matter what at this next council, you're the last one standing from this Vusi/Chané alliance...Annalize is gone and you should realize that...PK is a wild card and on his one man Chaotic alliance...You should know that, now that Chané is gone, even more votes will come YOUR Way....That they will be 6 strong voting and all they need to do is splitting it 3-3 to get you or PK Out....How in the blue moon of Cagayan could you NOT play this idol , a gift from the sky, in any form or shape ? To me, this non play idol is on the very same level of one Chris Noble....It's that bad and I'm still speechless at how she could think it would be another "all votes on PK"....There's zero incentive at keepin it for the next vote....How could she feel that safe ? Its beyond me.... Its even more infuriating knowin the over dominant 6 Alliance ended up doing the very same massive blunder they did one week earlier by putting all of their votes on one person....How could they be that dumb to think she could not get any idol out of that reward ? It happened in the past and it will happen again....To think Werner is portrayed as such mastermind of the game...And he ends up making such a huge blunder for the second weeks on a row ?

Its quite ironic & poetic that it is Katinka, 19 years old, who was the only one playing this voting game correctly this week by wanting to split the said votes 3-3....And she insisted on it TWICE... Not bad for the supposedly "biggest dumbass in the game" right ?

Poetic cause thanks to Palesa massive blunder here, she ended up saved miraculously herself from a certain demise....

Tunnel vision ended up getting the better of one of the most interesting , fascinating and unique characters we ve been blessed to get on this game in recent years.

Thanks for the memories Queen Pal and cannot wait to witness your antics on next week council alongside your big pal Vusinator ! Should be a Lot of Fun !
