I was super hard core about tracking and not going past my budget for the first 12 days on Noom and then I just hit a wall.
I was at a plateau, no weight was coming off and on day 13 I really wanted pizza. So I had it. I still tracked it and went over budget by 500c. The next day I was back to healthy meals but really wanted some peanut M&Ms. So I counted out 12 and ate them and tracked them, and also went over budget.
By day 15 I found I was ready to go back to tracking and eating within my budget. I really enjoyed the treats I had on the weekend and felt good about continuing my journey and lo and behold, the next day a couple of pounds came off.
Here I am on week 5 with 5.5 lbs down. It’s going to take me at least 2 more months of eating well and exercise to get close to where I want to go and I’m okay with that.
You can do it. As someone else said, it’s not all or nothing. We make a new choice with every meal we have. Don’t be too hard on yourself and keep at it!
