I've been victim of a fake accusation of assault on woman while I was in Australia. Me and the woman living in a 5ppl apartment (in her 40s) started to have issues for small things like her talking loud at the phone in the morning or from my side I was leaving often my dishes to wash until the next day.. so after 2 weeks the air was heavy, and it ended up that one day I've put my laptop music loud in the livingroom and she toke for what it meant to be, and rage spitted in my noodles right after I prepared, in front of me.. at that point i thought that it was too much.. so I just thrown the noodles onto her bed (keeping the cup) saying like "wtf are you doing you crazy bitch". while I was throwing noodles (I still laugh reminding this scene) she tried to stop me by punching my arms strong (I had signs on skin) but the worst thing has been the call to police she made faking a cry, telling "he tried to beat me and to throw a plate in my face, please please come help me".. (note she was not on bed but 3 meters far on the right and I didnt even thrown the cup) of course when the building's staff arrived, without even knowning who was the real victim they treated me like I assaulted the poor woman, using strong tones, telling me to shut up when I was trying to explain, listening to her and that was until police arrived.. for half an hour, I felt really impotent and damn angry like never before in my life.. has been a real weird feeling that you cant get until you try first person.. luckly the two officer were smarter and probably seen often these sort of crap happens, so they understood and they suggested me to change apartment (even if I was there before she moved in). Of course I didnt even imagine to sue HER for assaulting ME, cause it would have been only a waste of money and time. She retired the accusations the same hour talking with officers (I believe that..). For a moment i thought to go on and sue but i was a foreigner man and she was an aussie woman.. no way i could get out with something. From this experience my opinion on human beings greatly worsened (cause not only women can be so assholes, of course, even if they seems to particularly be prone to it) but the issue about different treatment remain and is evident, quite strong today.
