I second that. I always found swedes had this smug "oh we're so much better than anyone else" attitude about everything, but this is what confirmed the impression. It's as if they were saying that, unlike other countries that were hit hard, their citizens are so more civilized that they didn't need a lockdown to keep them from getting infected. I'm sorry so many people had to die there because of this failure of an attitude. But I'm sure they'd somehow still try to explain it as a success. I'm from a country (Italy) where people do the exact opposite, we always think everyone else does better than us. But I gotta say that this one time, I'm really impressed of how we handled everything.
