In order to run a country as big and powerful as the United States you need smart people, best bet is to have the smartest people that you can find. Israel gets of the hook because it's instrumental to American foreign policy in the Middle East. It is the only democracy there after all. Does this mean every politician that is smart have good intentions? Probably not. But if anyone in leading branches of the military (not many Jews there) would suspect that they are getting ass fucked and not liking it.
