There's also factors that the FSG Out crew seem to be oblivious to. We have a first XI full of world class players, and for the first time in living memory there are absolutely no worries that they are about to be poached. That in and of itself is totally remarkable given our recent history. We have settled on a strategy of getting in world class players and tying them down. We have a formula that has already yielded results, and we are only just beginning to reap them. The rest of the league is naturally playing catch-up, and people can't help but see that and freak out. Some of these "fans" don't seem to be paying much attention to our strengths and how we're quietly sitting pretty. The club hierarchy have also made mention of their long-term strategy, and being in a position to strike when long-term world class targets become available. We just need to be patient.
