You're being downvoted because you're wrong and generalizing the entire community.

Just because you hate it and a few top runners hate it, that means absolutely nothing to everyone else. Also, there are likely a lot of people who follow smallant on here who disagree with you. Speedrunning community is not just the top couple people and you. On top of that, many people have read the entire thread and seen that they already said that Min Caps is very interesting and is on the agenda also proving you wrong, so your attitude toward it and the fact that you're incorrect is what has likely led to the downvotes.

You also may just have people who don't like you and downvoted you. Don't know. Maybe some of the people who downvoted you will respond and say the reason if it varies from what I just said.
