"The Switch is teetering on the brink of becoming outdated" says the Financial Times

I might be in the minority but I think that it’s too early for a Switch Pro, even if for no other reason than the fact that they couldn’t yet incorporate any lessons learned from PS5 and the new Xbox (and project X-Cloud). Even with the extra time I won’t expect a Switch Pro to be anywhere near as powerful or robust feature-wise as those new consoles. But waiting just another 9 months or so could make for a much more compelling product. Here’s just one example To consider: if Microsoft WERE to integrate their Games Pass or streaming services for a Switch console, I think Nintendo would be wise to take some lessons-learned by the pending console launches into account and plan and build accordingly.
