• 99% of the mounts in ESO are only available in the shop/crates and not in-game through rewards or rare drops
• A LOT of transmog items are only available as limited time purchases in the shop. Those that are available in-game can also mostly be bought in the shop as a time saver
• Mount training books are made to be very tempting purchases because of how long it takes to max out your mount in-game
• you can’t but expansions or DLC with in-game gold, that’s just not true at all
• Every time you log in, there’s a pop up right in the middle of your screen with Crown Store deals and you have to manually dismiss it every time
• ESO+ is what I like to call an optional necessity because sure, you don’t need it, but you kinda do if you want to not have 8 different crafting alts or alts specifically to hold your items
• Transmogging your sets costs a lot of good and you only get one slot unless you purchase tokens or additional slots

There’s no two ways about it, ESOs pricing model and cash shop are grubby as fuck.
