Just some things to think about, not taking sides

Firstly the Jews are native to the land but where exiled 612BC when they got overthrown by the medes and neo-babylonian empire. Secondly whilst Jews were a minority, they did live in Israel/Palestine prior to the holocaust in the early 1900's

After pogroms in Russia, genocide in Germany, and all the other atrocities they sought to go to their homeland where they could finally rule under themselves and be free from persecution. Even in the 1930's Britain tried to stop them immigrating to Palestine, even in the 40s after the war the jews had to smuggle themselves into Palestine.

Also the UN gave them both their own land, Israel was happy with it but Palestine rejected it and took them to war and ended up losing a lot of their land that they were given.
