No. The person I was responding too said that if it didn't end the way he thought it should it would be bad writing. I was pointing out that it wouldn't and why.

This is the problem I see with the criticism of the new films. Way too many people believe they know what the saga is "supposed" to do, rather than just follow along with what it does.

Yeah, I see how Star Wars fans on a Star Wars forum discussing Star Wars and speculating on where it might go is a huge problem.
