"T_D is the most dangerous propaganda tool on the internet right now. I'm not even exaggerating, that sub will end up causing more division and terrorism in America than any ISIS recruiting tools ever have." [+52] r/fuckthealtright

Ok - it's a fascinating delusion for sure to be in the mental gymnastics of any spin zone particularly when trying to relate from one to the other. But simply saying there is a rational expectation that t_d is an ISIS recruiting platform is whacked.

Can you make a case for domestic terrorism? Sure. Make the case, argue it about what makes the sub a recruitment center for extremists. But to say islamic jihadists who specifically hate anything to do with Western culture is basing recruitment from t_d makes ZERO sense. First jihadists hate us specifically because we have these mechanisms for freedom of speech. Any subreddit that contradicts jihadist beliefs is against their doctrine.

Secondly, while t_d is at the epicenter of so many mind games and weird political ideas, it is not the platform to argue for islamic law and extremism which would only further undermine their recruitment platform. Nothing in the_d is mentioning returning to sharia law to support America.

Lastly, you can't tie this to an individual, you'd have to tie this to a concept because you never know who's the author unless they are not anonymous.
