Table flip moment of the day: hotel rooms

Also on blocks. I didn't realize that my hometown is now a summer destination. I've got one block but it's $250 a night. There are some better priced hotels but not by much so I encouraged people to book wherever. Just book early! I was ready to put it to bed and not think about it anymore. People are adults and if they don't want to spend that much on a hotel they won't. Not to mention, most of our out of town guests are more than wealthy enough to swing it.

Well FH suddenly thinks everyone has to stay in the same place? And that more people may want hotel rooms than we think? And $250 is too high. Dude. I am done caring about this. There are like 10 rooms we absolutely need total. Literally everyone else lives within 40 min of the venue. There is NOTHING I can do about the expensive freakin hotels and lack of available blocks.

Ugh someone just give me a hug and tell me adults will figure this out? I left a note in their save the dates to book early with a bright red sentence encouraging booking ASAP. I just don't want to worry about this anymore.
