Table saw with built-in finger protection

Meanwhile, my hand got into one that most likely had a really bad stopping power, cause it went halfway in before it stopped, almost taking off my pinkie and rendering half my hand without any feeling.

Went in half an inch from the base of the pinkie, meaning the joint bone there broke (rendering the pinkie half-stuck in position), deflected or pushed the hand apart and got a bit angled, so it went further down into my hand, leaving a scar that's on the palm from pinkie to the beginning of the middle finger, on the top, left a scar that's from the pinkie almost all the way through.

It broke 3 bones, severed 5 sinews and practically left 70% of my hand with reduced feeling, worst being in the pinkie and ring finger where there is practically no feeling left.

And still, if it hadnt been for the stopping mechanism (cause I didn't turn off the machine, but it was pretty clogged up in the back and bone fragments and other stuff could have jammed it, it was really stuffed in the back), I could have lost all the hand below the finger joints and possibly even my thumb.

It was pretty brutal.
