Taiwan’s Struggle for Independence Must be Understood as Anti-Imperialist and Anti-Colonial

What I meant was a large part of Chinese nationalism is leftist, not that it's necessarily leftist as a whole. Chinese government claimed they will never seek hegemony or expansion, and they make themselves look internationalist in propaganda related to the international matters such as the One Belt One Road. You can say it's merely a disguise, but it's not like the "internationalisms" of the old socialist states were truly out of altruism too.

Honestly, nationalism means you care your nation more than the other's, internationalism means you care your nation and the other's more equally, internationalist nationalism sounds like an inconsistent concept and cannot exist in practice.
