The Taken King Pricing Megathread

Luke Smith got it right, TTK is like a value meal. You know you are paying for shit, but still end up buying it anyways. But at least, that bag full of dung was expected and costs accordingly.

There is no value, the game is the equivalent to buying a vehicular lemon. It's stripped down, bugged/flawed, no in game story/lore, terrible voice acting, cinematics that people WANT to skip, 20 TOTAL ingame recycled models, and many, many, many more issues.

Yet, the original game has little left of itself. Destiny Ver1.25 was built by suggestions of the players. We all are doing Bungie's job by offering suggestions and beta testing broken content. Luke being the "Creative Lead" is leading his team to go on Reddit and plagiarize any decent suggestion. There is a post of all the NEW talent trees from 8 months ago on REDDIT?!?!!? Their real creative team left with the veteran designers, almost 2 years ago when the game was forced to be stripped down and remade.

Keep this in mind when you spend money on your "Value Meal", we built this game. It's like going to McDonald's and asking for their customers to flip their own burgers and then charging them 15.00 for the cheeseburger meat. After doing that, Ronald McDonald squatted over your patty and gave you some special brown sauce. Luke just shat on my cheeseburger and we as consumers and employees should not be happy.

Now, do you want some cheese with that order of wah-burgers?

TL DR; TTK should be free as an apology for what they issued with the initial game release and the previous expansions. Their marketing was a flat out bait and switch tactic on Destiny vanilla. The game is being repaired by the players. As we are all "employees" of the creative team and game testers, we should all get some type of "wage". Last I checked, we didn't sign up to intern for Bungie as game testers or designers.
