See now this makes me sad.

99% of cops are really great people that are doing a fantastic job of protecting us from criminals.

But we all know "a few bad apples spoils the bunch".

It's so frustrating to see this happen to our nation. Now believe me, I do not deny that there are some super shitty cops out there that are horrible awful people. But that is seriously such a goddamn small minority of the police force.

I mean think about it. How many traffic stops are made in a day in the US? A shit ton. How many routing drug related arrests are made in a day? A shit ton. Just think of how many routine stops and arrests are done per day by a police force, then think about how many times an arrest gone bad has happened. Like what, once every two weeks or so?

Unfortunately, the scope of the media is pinpointed directly to these bad cops and makes it seem like its an occurrence that happens constantly. It fucking doesnt.

People on my Facebook (the annoying stoner conspiracy theorists) are bringing video cameras and stuff for them on traffic stops. Like really? I'm fully confident that if I get pulled over I will get one of the 99% of police officers who are decent human beings. I will take charge of me being irresponisble, respect the officer, not give him any pointless shit, tell him to have a great day and maybe even thank him for what he does, and we will both be on our way.

Oh yeah, maybe, JUST MAYBE, if you weren't an idiot and broke the law, you wouldn't have to deal with the cops you hate oh so much.

All in all, respect the goddamn cops. Seriously. I don't see any of you keyboard warriors are there going in to the heart of gang communities to stop a gang fight. I don't see any of you being the first on the scene of a car accident where a 4 year old child was killed. Finally I don't see you getting a bunch of unjustified hate constantly thow your direction over something YOU didn't do, but what a very very small minority of people did.
