Taken to school.

Honestly, I can see that view point. I worked hard to be able to pay for my college tuition. I went to community college to finish all my gen eds, saving me $40k. I busted my ass so I would never have to retake a class and waste more money. I knew exactly what I wanted to go into, so I didn't waste money changing majors. Why should everyone after me be so privileged as to get all that without having to work for it?

... Well that's like asking why did my parents immigrate here with nothing, working 60-70 hours a week for ends meat so me and my brother would never have to go through the struggles they had to.

You're doing this for future generations, your kids, our future, so that they may lead a better life than what we had. We're paving the way for a better future. We need to stop the mentality of "well if I had to struggle, so should you".
