Ouch that was a seriously brutal hit.

That was some significant newton's of impact force!

It's possible he might have gotten a mild concussion from those acceleration forces of his head and neck (basically slamming his brain against the inside of his skull--twice--once in the back, and once in the front, due to rapid whipping motions).

Not to mention the possibility of a neck or back injury.

Ideally someone should probably actually watch that kid closely for the next week or so, just to make sure he's ok.

He's young... so his body is far more flexible, and non-rigid, and recovers significantly faster than adults in some ways... so hopefully he's fine.

But ya, that was quite the impact.
