Talk to me about cell/cable/internet bills

Let me tell you about what I do.

Brighthouse internet $52-55 per month. I have my own modem that I paid $2 for instead of renting theirs for $8-10 per month.

T-mobile cell phone. 100 talk minutes unlimited text and data $30/month. Sometimes I can get T-mobile cards at a slight 5-10% discount.

OOMA VOIP Home phone. Paid around $150 for the box 9+ years ago, I don't have a monthly phone bill for my house phone. The $150 charge at the time included lifetime free service. So for the last 108 months or so It breaks down to under $1.50 per month so far for home phone service.

I cut the cord so no cable service. I have a Mohu leaf for like the 6 channels that can reach my rural town. I have netflix. Radio shack had a promotion where you buy a phone and you get 6 months of netflix. Well they had $20 phones and I bought 10 of them. Sold the phones on ebay for what I paid for them and got 5 years of netflix for free. Hulu, I got a lifetime subscription(it has ads though) for under $20, this was in January 2015, still works. I also have amazon prime, bought 2 years of it for $72 per year when they had that deal a year ago. I don't use the TV service much.
