Talking about issues

Back when i did share personal feelings or problems with them, they would either compare my problems to theirs and say that they have/had it way worse, laugh in my face (when i told them that someone sexually assaulted me or physcially beat the shit out of me while i was crying my eyes out, for example), or ignore me straight up.

When i would confront them about something they did, they would tell me that it never happened.

So nowadays i just don't cry much at all and especially in front of them. Even though I'm a girl (my family is traditional), i feel pathetic when i show any sign of vulnerability, but my brother can straight up cry over a dog dying in a movie and he'll be showered with comfort.
