The easiest part is that it's mostly one color and the engine cowling can stay off until everything is painted. So, there's no masking required, except for the canopy. And, I stuffed the landing gear bays with Silly Putty.
It doesn't show up on the video very well, but I did preshade before the color coat in order to give the raised panel lines a little more presence.
The next Zero that I'm going to paint in gray-green will also be primarily one color, but I plan on post shading in addition to the same sort of preshading. Post shading will help give the panels a little more color variation. I also intend to weather it more. My goal for this one was just a nice clean white Zeke.
