I’ve actually found PES to be even sweatier than FIFA. I get that it’s cool to hate on FIFA but playing PES online is nothing but people spamming long balls. I don’t find it enjoyable at all, and the movement/ball physics are wonky too.

FIFA is by no means a simulation but it also isn’t meant to be. I haven’t played 21 yet, but people seem to be saying the AI has improved a lot and the near post meta is gone. I’m a big manager mode guy so all of that is music to my ears.

I like what PES is doing this year though. Selling the season update for half the price of a new game and putting all their energy into next gen is awesome and I hope it pays off. EA is a bunch of greedy fucks and will never have that kind of transparency with their player base.

I wish I didn’t love FIFA but I do. It’s the only game I play really.
