Tamriel seems to be too "minor" compared to Akavir?

I feel like some tend to think of Tamriel as weaker than Akavir but that may be due to the fact that we see the "game limitations" Tamriel and we only read about Akavir in in game sources that may or may not be necessarily correct (keep in mind that any lorebooks we find are written with certain bias of the in game author). Everyone end up in Tamriel one way or another or tries to get here, I think its a very important land even for Daedric Prince who tend to influence the events or make invasions of their own here, the dragon god himself made a deal with a resident of Tamriel, not of Akavir. But we really know so little of Akavir that maybe we shouldnt be comparing it to Tamriel, and I feel like the dragon argument is weak, considering dragons of Skyrim came from the north not west and Alduin himself was exclusively a Skyrim threat. One thing I would agree on is that races or Akavir that we know of do appear to be more formidable but the continent itself may not be worth that much of a mention compared to Tamriel which seems to be much bigger of a prize for everyone.
