Tangerine: Anyone else a little bothered by flimsy account security (a ticking timebomb?)

People will defend and justify it for reasons beyond my comprehension, but there's really no excuse for such poor security in this day and age. Banks having by far the worst security practices when even the most basic of websites will implement more rigorous standards should just be a major source of shame and embarrassment for banks.

I certainly don't trust that if my account somehow got compromised, Tangerine will accept that some of the responsibility was their poor security practices. I dread the idea of ever trying to have that conversation.

To answer your question. Yes, every time I log in I am extremely bothered by it. I limit my usage with them and just use them as a middle man for money in/out.
